Karen Miller Fabulous Free-Motion Feathers - Naples

Feathers:  traditional, primitive, free flowing, curled, fast…   Feathers are a timeless addition to a quilt or whole cloth.  This two-day workshop will focus on feather designs and formats.  Karen will walk you through fitting feathers into triangles, circles, squares, sashings and more.  As a group we’ll design, draw, discuss and stitch feathers to gain confidence and skill.  The approach is applicable to any free motion quilting machine, but is demonstrated on a domestic sewing machine.   

A basic knowledge of free motion quilting or a previous beginning quilting class and a sewing machine required.
