Lined Drawstring Bag ~ Sarasota

Saturday, December 21st in Sarasota ~ 10:30AM - 2:30PM

Make this fun and versatile little bag, 10" x 7" (but it can be made in many sizes as reusable Gift Wrap).  you will learn straight seams, boxed corners, casing, and straps.

This class is for beginners but we welcome all levels of sewists.

You will need the following:

School of Sewing by Shea Henderson (pattern for the class is inside)

3 fat quarters of fabric

1/4 yard for drawstring or 2 yards of ribbon

matching thread color

The Teacher:  Mary Ann Pickard

Mary Ann is a retired home economics teacher from Maine.  She started sewing at the age of 10 and continued through the age of 30, when she attended the University of Maine at Farmington for a Bachelor of Science degree in teaching home economics and health.  She has been sewing, quilting, and teaching ever since.
