Join Karen for this 2-day introduction to Free Motion Quilting and you’ll be on your way to finishing  your small quilts and projects on your home or sit-down sewing machine. Karen shares a wealth of  free motion fundamentals including body and hand positioning, notions, needle and thread choices,  tension adjustments, and more. On Day 1, several basic designs including echo, swirl, pebble, ribbon,  and paisley will be discussed, drawn and stitched. On day 2, we’ll improve our FMQ skills using small  panels, pillow or table topper size samples. Day 2 also includes an introduction to more advanced  designs including McTavishing & Continuous Curve Quilting.
