Welcome to our first mini collection in the Mix and Match Quilting line, Primitive Snowmen. This collection has ten different snow people blocks with two different styles of transitional blocks that go between them. We used a regular satin stitch for the appliqué designs in the snowmen with a blanket stitch surrounding it. We also used linen as our background fabric for a different look.
Since you all loved our Primitive Snowmen collection Anita Goodesign decided to create a Primitive Christmas collection! This collection has 12 different Christmas blocks with two different styles of transitional blocks that go between them. Anita Goodesign used a regular satin stitch as a finishing stitch for the appliqué designs with a blanket stitch surrounding it. By using this technique you will have a cleaner edge with a beautiful blanket stitch border. We also used a linen as our background fabric for a different look for this snow-themed scene.
Both designs use hoops between 5x7 and 8x12. Participants need to go online to the Anita Goodesign website and purchase the design of your choice and download to your computer.
Please bring your machine (unless you have made arrangements with Flash Sew & Quilt about a rental) and accessories needed to complete this project.
