Richard Tharp will be back by popular demand to celebrate St Patricks Day with you.
Richard's passion for sewing began at a very young age, learning early on how to cut out quilt pieces for his family of quilters. It seemed only natural that he would end up becoming a quilter as well with a keen eye for design in quilts that fall into the art quilt category.
As a Hoffman Challenge winner in 2017, Richard's quilt, "The Sisters" was part of a traveling trunk show. his "Learn, Inspire, Create" concept is evident in his teaching style and one that he loves to pass along to his students.
Now you can Join Flash Sew & Quilt and Baby Lock National Educator, Richard Tharp for an educational journey on the awesome Baby Lock Triumph Serger. The class is open to anyone with any model Baby Lock serger and Bernina Overlockers. Your machines should have the cover stitch and overlock capabilities and you will need to know how to work your machines.
You will learn how to use many of the specialty feet that are available for the Baby Lock Sergers:
1.Pintuck Foot, 2. Blind Hem Foot, 3. Ruffling Foot, 4. Beading Foot, 5. Clear Curved Foot, 6. Belt Loop Binder Foot, and the 7. Lace Applicator Foot
The projects in this camp are The Patchwork Techniques Tote Bag and a Cathedral Windows Quilt. You will learn how to use each of these feet mentioned above to create the projects during the 3-day camp.
You will need the above specialty feet / attachments for this class.
The thread and fabric are Included with the price of a class kit.
